The BI uses Idea Elan’s InfinityX software for equipment and user management.
All clients and users will need an InfinityX account.
Infinity X aspects are tailored by facility, thus BI-specific help is below.
The software processes differ slightly depending if you are an external client or a member of the McMaster community.

InfinityX Resources for Internal McMaster Users
The McMaster community must use the SSO (Single Sign On) feature together with their MacID. All students must be affiliated with a McMaster faculty member.
Log into Infinity X Infinity X Log-in
Log into Infinity X with the blue SSO button and your MacID credentials to access McMaster’s central facility resources. Note: SSO is required to link McMaster financial accounts.
Setup your InfinityX account Link InfinityX with the BI
Affiliate your InfinityX account with the BI facility and a supervisor (if needed).

Access the QR code to download the Infinity X App on your mobile device. Enter the McMaster code to allow SSO with your MacID.
