Lab Access & Training (Jan 2025)
Lab Access & Training
Access to BI labs and training for use of BI equipment is restricted to “BI Users”. “BI Users” are individuals, with McMaster IDs*, who complete certain McMaster Safety Training and BI-specific Training. Completing these site-specific items are mandatory for lab access in order to maintain a safe working environment. *These steps require a McMaster ID; if you don’t have one, please contact us.
NOTE:
- The BI is changing user and equipment management software.
- Maclims usage will end January 31 2025 and Infinity X usage will start February 1 2025.
- To accommodate the change, there will be a “BI User” processing black-out period from January 24 (4pm) to January 31 (midnight) 2025. During this “black-out” period, new user accounts will not be processed. Processing will resume February 3rd (10am) 2025.
