Lab Access & Training

Lab Access & Training

BI lab access and equipment usage is restricted to “BI Users”. “BI Users” are individuals, with McMaster IDs*, who complete certain McMaster Safety Training and BI-specific Training and gain permissions within Infinity X; this is summarized in Steps 1 to 5 below.

If you only wish to submit samples but not access the BI or use BI equipment: Full “BI User” requirements are not needed. Our sample submission page outlines the process for internal and external clients to submit samples for analysis.

*Note: Certain steps require a McMaster ID; if you don’t have one, please contact us.

If you need Infinity X support, visit the McMaster Infinity X Support website (MacID required to view).
