MiniBlocks for Parallel Synthesis

Overview

The Silicycle MiniBlock XT is a multifunctional platform for medium to high throughput parallel synthesis (12 to 96 positions) for: Solid-Phase Synthesis; Solution-Phase Synthesis; Peptide Synthesis; and Solid-Phase Extraction (SPE).

It has excellent temperature control and refluxing capabilities, robust mixing of difficult solutions and easy setup and cleanup. Reactions can be performed under inert or non-inert atmosphere, and in solution or solid supported phase.

The SiliCycle patented valve mechanism enables simultaneous bottom drainage or all reaction vessels, aided by the use of vacuum or air pressure. Reaction products can then be transferred into collection vessels or SPE tubes for purification.

A small footprint permits placement into fume hoods.
