MaXis 4G Mass Spectrometer

Overview

MaXis 3

The Bruker MaXis 4G QTOF (Quadrupole Time-Of-Flight) mass spectrometer, coupled with ElectroSpray Ionization (ESI) and Ultra High Performance Liquidy Chromatography (uHPLC; Dionex UltiMate 3000), allows for precise mass spectrometry (MS), liquid chromatography (LC)-MS or MS/MS analysis for a variety of small molecules, compounds and metabolites, in a single experiment, with high resolution.

Instrument
Uses

  • Material Characterization of compounds, metabolites and small molecules
  • Substance Identification
  • High-Throughput analysis

Sample
Requirements

  • Liquid form (or lyophilized powder) in suitable solvent
  • Avoid salts and buffers
  • Approximately 100-500 uL of 10-100 pmol/ul (or a concentration of 1 mg /mL) is needed

System
Requirements

  • Acceptable HPLC grade water or solvents (e.g. ACN, MeOH, DCM,
    Chloroform)
  • No DMSO
