Chemidoc MP Gel Imager (Biorad)

Overview

Chemidoc

The Chemidoc MP is a highly sensitive imaging system that allows UV, chemiluminescent, fluorescence and white light imaging, as well as stain free technology, providing reproducible quantitative results for both single-channel or multi-channel applications. Three LED modules (red, green and blue) allow detection of all common fluorescent dyes (Alexa Fluor, DyLight, Cy, Qdot).

This instrument may be used to image nucleic acid gels, protein gels, and blots, in addition to other custom imaging applications (e.g. fluorescent materials, microarrays, bioactive paper). Three imaging trays are available to create images with better contrast.

ImageLab™ software allows for easy image processing to create publication-ready images.

The BI houses two versions of the Chemidoc MP.
