The BI houses two environmental chambers for temperature and humidity control:

Norlake Temperature Test Chamber (Model NSRI241WSW)
A large incubation chamber (24 cubic feet) with three inner shelves and digital controller, allows for stable incubation between 4°C to 70°C. |

Caron Environmental Chamber (Model 7000-10-1)
Two 10 cubic feet stacked chambers with digital temperature (5°C to 70°C, ±0.1°C; uniformity ±0.3°C) and humidity control (20% to 95% relative humidity, ±2%)*. Each unit has an insulated outer door, inner glass door and 3 internal adjustable shelves.

*Note: The Caron Environmental Chambers relative humidity and temperature combinations follow the unit’s “Standard Operating Range”, as a dryer is not available.
