Flash Chromatography Systems

Overview

CombiFlash

Two automated Teledyne CombiFlash (Rf200) flash chromatography systems provide high-productivity automation, programmable gradients, UV detection and peak separation, for the purification of medicinal chemistry products, natural products, peptides, polymers, and other complex organic compounds.

Capable of system configurations of 5–200 mL/min (delivery flow rate), within a 200 psi system, to allow binary gradients with automatic selection of two solvents from four inlets. It has an automatic, self-cleaning injection valve for sample introduction, and full-spectrum UV (200–360 nm) or UV-vis (200–780 nm) detection with secondary wavelength monitoring. An internal air pump is used for post-run column air purging, active solvent level sensing, and waste full bottle detection. The system also automatically detects columns and collection tube racks.

Two units are available: the ‘Normal Phase’ system for use with organic solvents, and the ‘Reverse Phase’ system for aqueous solvents only.
