Bruker neofleX MALDI-TOF/TOF Spectrometer

Overview

The Bruker neofleX™ MALDI-TOF/TOF Spectrometer is a novel benchtop axial TOF/TOF (Time Of Flight using two mass analyzers to analyze the mass of ions) designed for speed and flexibility within a small footprint for driving translational context for MALDI (Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization) Imaging and beyond. Also capable to perform MS/MS on both TOF and CID (Collison-Induced Dissociation) modes.

Suitable for measurements of small molecules and proteins up to 300KDa.

Note: Salts and buffers are, in general, detrimental to MS analysis and should be avoided, or at suitable, low, concentrations. It is best to remove buffer salts and detergents (e.g. by dialysis) prior to analysis and to dissolve the sample in a suitable solvent (e.g. 0.1% TFA/water) which will not degrade the spectrum. Suitable solvents must be HPLC grade (e.g. ACN, MeOH, DCM,THF).
