Octet

Overview

The Sartorius Octet R2 Protein Analysis System uses label-free and fluidics-free technology to allow for real-time analysis and characterization of biomolecular conditions. Equipped with 2-channel quantification for kinetic measurements of molecules (greater than 150 Da), including protein-protein and protein-small molecule binding interactions, with low volume samples. The multipurpose system also provides quantitative information by measuring active protein concentrations. Samples can be complex mixtures, including cell culture supernatants and lysates.

The system offers a wide variety of off-the-shelf “Dip and Read” biosensors for various binding kinetics and quantitation analysis, that are loaded automatically with each experiment. Samples are loaded within 96-well plates. Temperature control between 15oC to 40oC for maintaining sample integrity.
