Overview

The Tecan M1000 plate reader provides excellent flexibility through its premium quad4 monochromator, with the uncompromising sensitivity and speed, compared to filter-based systems.

Suitable for endpoint, scans and kinetic reactions with absorbance, fluorescence (top and bottom readings), time resolved fluorescence (TRF), fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET), fluorescence polarization and luminescence.

The unit can perform single wavelength measurements and/or wavelength scans, multiple reads per well, while plates are exposed to varying temperature (ambient +5°C – 42°C) and shaking (linear or orbital).

The top injector module allows the use of up to two variable volumes injectors for dispensing reagents, to replace a manual pipetting step or trigger fast kinetic reactions in, and absorbance modes.

It is compatible with a variety of microplates, including 96 and 384 sizes, which may be loaded with or without the cover. An adapter is available for readings with microscope slides.

Plate reader commands are programmed in i-control® software, while data acquisition is through Microsoft® Excel.
