Biosafety Level 2 - Biological Preparation

Overview

A dedicated mammalian culture lab, with the following equipment

  • Biological Safety Cabinet
  • Cell Countess to determine cell population data
  • Centrifuge
  • CO2 Incubators (preset to 37°C and 5% CO2)
  • CryoPlus Liquid Nitrogen storage unit for long term storage of mammalian cells
  • 4°C Fridge, -20°C Freezer, -80°C Freezer
  • Inverted Microscope to simply monitor cell morphology
  • Water bath to heat up materials for culture work

  • Mammalian cell culture
  • Biosafety Level 1 and 2 work

Requirements
