The BI promotes a safe working environment with high standards for lab safety. Our Safety Program operates within McMaster’s University Health and Safety (UHS) and Biosafety guidelines. Here you will find links to relevant health & safety information.

Before gaining access to BI labs and equipment, individuals must learn about the BI Safety Program and supporting policies, through BI Access Requirements, and become a “BI User”.

BI user and equipment is managed via Idea Elan Infinity X software.
